Thomas & Sons Moving Company LLC

I hired Thomas & Sons to move my parents from one apartment to another. We had planned to have stuff organized when they arrived, but life happened and when they showed up - we'll just say it was not organized in any way. We had a 3 guy crew. They communicated well, showed up on time, were quick, ef...

These guys were great! They showed up early and took great care moving our belongings. They knew what they were doing and were pleasant to talk with. They finished the job in less time that estimated and charged us for only the actual time spent on the job. I highly recommend this company!

Moving home contents from Chadron to Rapid City after unsatisfactory experience with online moving broker from Florida. The broker could not obtain a trucking company in the requested time so we reached out to Thomas and Sons and luckily they had a cancellation and could move us immediately. They...

This is the second time we have used the Thomas & Sons Moving Co. in 2023 and 2025. Professional, thoughtful, exceedingly patient with our indecisions unloading. No damage thanks to their total care of our stuff, furniture, move boxes. I would say they have two superpowers: professionalism and th...

This review is not time based, but experience based. This company is just WOW!!We have used this company twice since we moved to this town. Starting with their phone manners until the move was completed, without a doubt this company is the Best in Rapid City!! I know because I called everyone else, b...

We hired Thomas and Sons as the final, critical step in a complicated cross-country move. They came highly recommended, and we could easily see why. The entire staff, from reception to the moving crew, was flexible, professional and knowledgeable. They did a great job, and we felt like we got an...

We hired them to move across town. They were all very hard working, friendly, and professional. Nothing was lost or broken and they placed our boxes in a way that we could get to all of them if needed, not just stacked in one pile. We really appreciated that and we would definitely hire them again!

What a great local company! We needed a TV hung at the Canyon Lake Activity Center for our new Fitness program. I called four different places and no one would help us. I should have called Thomas and Sons first! They were happy to help and fit us in their schedule right away! Excellent customer ser...

Phoned and spoke with a friendly receptionist, however I was advised their MINIMUM CHARGE IS 4 hours - NO MATTER WHAT!!!!

Very impressed and satisfied with the great job these men and company did for us! They went above and beyond to help us with the move. They handled all of our belongings with great care. It was nice to see people do there job and love what they are doing. Great positive energy! We highly recomme...

My wife and I just moved from a two-level two-bedroom apartment by Wilderness Park to a house on the east side of town. I was amazed at how quick Thomas & Sons were. Granted, they sent a 4-man crew because we have her old upright piano, but still - from the time they arrived at the apartment to wh...

The move went well and I was impressed with the job done by those moving me, except for one thing which didn't have to be a big deal. The company's response to the issue leaves me wondering about the owners' willingness to accept responsibility and their concern about customer satisfaction. For this...

We are shocked at how well everything went. They arrived on time moved boxes quickly and we're working hard the entire time. We would most certainly recommend these guys. They packed the truck exceptionally well and saved us money by using less space.Once again - best moving experience we have had...
